Where to Stay

There are many great places to stay in Kitzbühel. We have chosen the Bichlhof as our hotel of choice and negotiated preferential room rates from August 3rd to August 8th, 2014.

bitchlhoflogo The Bichlhof Hotel has a spa, restaurant, golf course, indoor and outdoor pool and is at the base of the Kitzbühel Horn (mountain). They are close to the town center, offer a shuttle service, free parking and WiFi throughout the hotel. This is one of few hotels that would block rooms for us and extend a discount based on booking a group of rooms. Details and number of rooms available in each category are listed below. Double room Standard for single use – with shower, toilet, balcony with view over the mountains of Kitzbühel, mini bar, safe, telephone, CD-player, flat screen TV, hairdryer, fluffy bathrobes and slippers. Euro 130.00 for the room per day, including breakfast buffet. (Max three rooms at this rate.

Double room Standard for double use – with shower, toilet, balcony with view over the mountains of Kitzbühel, mini bar, safe, telephone, CD-player, flat screen TV, hairdryer, fluffy bathrobes and slippers. Euro 176.00 for the room per day, including breakfast buffet. (Max three rooms at this rate.)

Double room superior for 2 people up to 4 people – (over two people extra charges apply, children are 30 extra Euros per day) Rooms are furnished in country house style with bathtub or shower, separate toilet, comfortable living area, desk, mini bar, safe, telephone, CD-player, flat screen TV, south balcony with view onto the “Hohe Tauern” and the “Steinbergkogel”, hairdryer,fluffy bathrobes and slippers. Euro 200.00 or 210.00, depending on how many rooms we book, for the room per day including breakfast buffet.

kitzhoflogo As you can see from the pictures, this is hotel has a very modern design inside. Tripadvisor rates this hotel #5 of 49 in Kitzbühel. It is reported to be a 5 minute walk from downtown.
seebichllogo This hotel has move of a ‘traditional’ Austrian mountain look to it outside and a casual feeling inside. Tripadvisor ranks it number 19 of 49 hotels with a 92% approval rating.
LebenberLogo This hotel offers a shuttle bus into the middle of town. Tripadvisor ranks this hotel #7 of 49 with an 81% approval rating.

  1. So, maybe now is a good time to start some German lessons. That first hotel in the list sounds like BEE-shell-hoff, not bitch-el-hoff!

  2. I’m ready to book, how do I call Austria?

    Just to make things challenging, Austrian phone numbers do not have a standard length; the minimum length is 4 and maximum is 13 digits. From Canada, dial 011 then the country code 43. Dialing from overseas, you do not key a ’0′ in front of any phone numbers. For example, the area code for Kitzbuhel is 5356 but it is sometimes shown as 05356 in advertising — drop the leading zero if you are calling from Canada.
