The World’s Largest Ice Caves
High above the village of Werfen, amid the magnificent mountain world of the Tennengebirge, we find the entrance to the world’s biggest explored labyrinth of ice caves with a length of almost 30 miles. About one and a half hours away from Kitzbühel. |

At 3,798m the Grossglockner is not only the highest mountain in Austria, it also counts among the highest peaks in the Alps. Salzburg means “salt castle”, referring to its massive fortress and the white gold from the mountains in the South. The city′s magnificent Baroque town centre is rated as a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site and can easily be explored by foot. About one and a quarter hours away from Kitzbühel. |
