There are a variety of things to do in and around Kitzbühel including biking, hiking, shopping and golf to name a few. We have listed some of our favourites just outside Kitzbühel below. We will be putting together an itinerary for the week as we get closer to ‘the date’. Join us, or feel free to explore on your own.

The Krimmler Waterfalls are the highest waterfalls in Europe. With a drop of 380m, they rank 5th among the highest waterfalls in the world.

High above the village of Werfen, amid the magnificent mountain world of the Tennengebirge, we find the entrance to the world’s biggest explored labyrinth of ice caves with a length of almost 30 miles.

About one and a half hours away from Kitzbühel.

At 3,798m the Grossglockner is not only the highest mountain in Austria, it also counts among the highest peaks in the Alps. It’s “…size and power can be felt here, one is subject to the fascination of the eternal ice and the elemental force of nature.”

Salzburg means “salt castle”, referring to its massive fortress and the white gold from the mountains in the South. The city′s magnificent Baroque town centre is rated as a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site and can easily be explored by foot.
